APC chieftain calls for reconciliation in Edo

Daily Trust - - STRANGE STORIES - From Usman A. Bello, Benin

A chieftain of the APC in Edo State, Godwin Erahahon, has called on the state chairman of the party, Anslem Ojezua, to seek genuine reconciliation with aggrieved members of the party in order to ensure victory in the September 10 governorship election in the state.

Erhohon, who is the publicity secretary of the party, said this at the weekend, in Benin, while reacting to the statement credited to Ojezua, in the media, that the party’s national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, mutilated the register the election.

While cautioning the state chairman against casting aspersions on Chief Oyegun, he noted that reconciliation of aggrieved members was more complex than the campaign for the election.

Erahahon wondered why the chairman was “aggravating problems” instead of seeking genuine reconciliation with aggrieved members, especially, Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi and Barrister Ken Imasuangbon. for allegedly delegates primary
