Max, Azman to airlift 2,369 intending pilgrims
The Executive Secretary of Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board (JSPWB), Sani Alhassan yesterday announced Max Air and Azman Air as the two carriers selected for the airlift of the state intending pilgrims for this year’s hajj operation.
A total of 2,369 intending pilgrims from the state are expected to take part in the exercise.
Alhassan made the announcement while speaking with newsmen in Dutse, saying Max Air would airlift about 2000 intending pilgrims while Azman would airlift 400 from the state contingent.
He said his board had so far deposited 50 percent of the total cost of the hajj seats allocated to the state for this year’s exercise to the National Hajj Commission (NAHCON)’
