We’re working hard to rescue kidnapped Indians -Police
The Police in Benue State yesterday said much was being done to rescue two Indian nationals kidnapped from Dangote Cement factory in Gboko, especially with the arrest of nine people on suspicion of the crime.
Daily Trust gathered that the foreigners were abducted by some gunmen on June 29.
Police spokesman ASP Moses Yamu said, “On 30th June, sequel to the kidnap of two expatriates, four suspects were arrested from different areas of the state. The police vehicle conveying the suspects came under attack by the syndicate and another five suspected kidnappers were apprehended, bringing the total number of those arrested in connection with the crime to nine.”
