We’re work­ing hard to res­cue kid­napped Indians -Po­lice

The Po­lice in Benue State yes­ter­day said much was be­ing done to res­cue two In­dian na­tion­als kid­napped from Dan­gote Cement fac­tory in Gboko, es­pe­cially with the ar­rest of nine peo­ple on sus­pi­cion of the crime.

Daily Trust gath­ered that the for­eign­ers were ab­ducted by some gun­men on June 29.

Po­lice spokesman ASP Moses Yamu said, “On 30th June, se­quel to the kid­nap of two ex­pa­tri­ates, four sus­pects were ar­rested from dif­fer­ent ar­eas of the state. The po­lice ve­hi­cle con­vey­ing the sus­pects came un­der attack by the syn­di­cate and an­other five sus­pected kid­nap­pers were ap­pre­hended, bring­ing the to­tal num­ber of those ar­rested in con­nec­tion with the crime to nine.”
