NIMR celebrates six years of ex­cel­lence

The Nige­rian In­sti­tute of Med­i­cal Re­search is set to cel­e­brate six years of ex­cel­lence in de­liv­er­ing on crit­i­cal value ad­di­tion to the devel­op­ment of Nige­ria’s health sec­tor. Ac­cord­ing to the In­sti­tute’s Di­rec­tor- Gen­eral, Pro­fes­sor In­no­cent Ujah the In­sti­tute’s con­tri­bu­tions through med­i­cal re­searches over the years, have earned Nige­ria and the In­sti­tute great sense of pride among com­mit­tee of na­tions. The In­sti­tute has per­formed cred­itably well in the last six years, in line with global stan­dards in med­i­cal re­search.

Sched­uled to hold 12th of July, 2016 in La­gos, at the In­sti­tute’s Au­di­to­rium’ is a sym­po­sium on Ma­ter­nal and Child Health in Nige­ria. Pro­fes­sor Oladele Shittu, a Pro­fes­sor of Gyne­col­ogy from the Ah­madu Bello Univer­sity, Zaria will be the guest speaker.
