Trib­ute to late Dr. Shet­tima Ali Monguno

Late Dr. Shet­tima Ali Monguno is a fa­mous ed­u­ca­tion­ist, pa­tri­otic politi­cian phi­lan­thropy, elder state man, chair­man Borno State elder’s fo­rum, fa­ther of the or­phans, voice of the voice­less de­fender of the de­fence­less. He al­ways con­cerned with what af­fect gen­er­al­ity of peo­ple, he spon­sored a more than ten thou­sand or­phan and children in var­i­ous in­sti­tu­tion of learn­ing, he also take the re­spon­si­bil­ity of spon­sor­ing any fe­male in­di­gene of Borno State wish­ing to study medicine in any of the Nige­rian Univer­sity. He is among the pi­o­neers that made Nige­ria to be a petroleum ex­port­ing coun­try; other legacy is the es­tab­lish­ment of Maiduguri Petroleum De­pot.

Dr. Shet­tima Ali Monguno can be re­mem­bered as among those who la­bored for mod­ern Nige­ria, that present gen­er­a­tion are prance on it. May Al­lah give us the zeal to serve Nige­ria pa­tri­ot­i­cally the way he served.
