A former Flying Eagles coach, Ladan Isah Bosso has called on the Minister of Youth and Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung to exercise restraint in his comments on Nigerian coaches.

Bosso in an interview with sports reporters in Abuja, described as disheartening, comments credited to the Minister which disparaged Nigerian coaches as “being bias” in their selections.

He noted that the comment by the Minister was a plot to rubbish the good works that the Nigerian coaches have been doing over the years.

Bosso, who was assistant to coach Godwin Uwua in 2007 and later led the national U-20 side to the African Youth Championship (AYC) in Congo Brazzaville that picked one of the tickets to represent Africa at the Canada FIFA U-20 World Cup the same year, disclosed that he dropped some of the foreign-based professional for the home based players.
