PTDF prepares fresh 528 Nigerians for oil, gas training

Around 528 Nigerians are undergoing a fourday induction programme preparatory to starting studies in both overseas and Nigerian universities.

The studies would be sponsored by the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) for the 2016/2017 academic year.

210 students were awarded scholarship in MSc while 63 were PhD candidates and would have their scholarship in over 20 Nigerian universities in the category called the Local Scholarship Scheme (LSS).

175 MSc and 80 PhD candidates emerged successful in the PTDF’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme (OSS) after a rigorous selection process.
