Kaduna Electric tackles Janruwa outage

The Kaduna Electric said it provided Janruwa community in Kaduna metropolis with a transformer and energised the area in June.

A statement issued by the head, Corporate Communication of the firm, Abdulazeez Abdullahi, posted on its social media platform said, “In keeping with our promise at the tripartite meeting involving NERC, Janruwa community leaders and our officials to restore electricity supply to Janruwa community by the end of June, we installed a 500KVA transformer.

“It, however, developed a fault which forced us to take it out for repairs. We then installed and energized a 300kVA transformer which saw a section of the community enjoy supply.”
