Kaduna Elec­tric tack­les Jan­ruwa out­age

The Kaduna Elec­tric said it pro­vided Jan­ruwa com­mu­nity in Kaduna me­trop­o­lis with a trans­former and en­er­gised the area in June.

A state­ment is­sued by the head, Cor­po­rate Com­mu­ni­ca­tion of the firm, Ab­du­lazeez Ab­dul­lahi, posted on its so­cial me­dia plat­form said, “In keep­ing with our prom­ise at the tri­par­tite meet­ing in­volv­ing NERC, Jan­ruwa com­mu­nity lead­ers and our of­fi­cials to re­store elec­tric­ity sup­ply to Jan­ruwa com­mu­nity by the end of June, we in­stalled a 500KVA trans­former.

“It, how­ever, de­vel­oped a fault which forced us to take it out for re­pairs. We then in­stalled and en­er­gized a 300kVA trans­former which saw a sec­tion of the com­mu­nity en­joy sup­ply.”
