Motorists decry robberies on Kaduna road

Daily Trust - - NEWS - From Bashir Liman, Jos

Some motorists have expressed grief over incessant armed robberies in parts of Plateau and Kaduna states, especially at the Forest section of a highway in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The motorists under the Union of Peugeot J5 (UPJ5) made the lamentation yesterday when their chairman, Malam Mahe Alhassan Kwaftara, spoke to newsmen in Jos, explaining that the notorious operations of the armed robbers were badly afecting motorists mostly around the Forest area, known as Kurmin Goro.

Kwaftara added that their members who ply the roads urgently needed the government to replace the dismantled military checkpoints on the road in Sanga.
