Oko­rocha reshuf­fles cab­i­net

Gov­er­nor Rochas Oko­rocha of Imo State has an­nounced a mi­nor cab­i­net reshuf­fle.

A state­ment is­sued in Ow­erri yesterday by the Prin­ci­pal Sec­re­tary to the Gov­er­nor, Pas­cal Obi, said the Com­mis­sioner for In­for­ma­tion, Strat­egy, Youths and Sports, En­gi­neer Chidi Ibeh had been moved to the Min­istry of Com­merce and In­dus­try, while Hon. Ifeanyi Ararume Ju­nior was moved from there to the Min­istry of In­ter­nally Gen­er­ated Rev­enue (IGR) and In­ter­nal Re­sources.

The Com­mis­sioner for IGR Chief Vi­talis Ajumbe was re­de­ployed to the Min­istry of In­for­ma­tion and Pub­lic Util­ity, while Hon. Rod­ney Ajaelu took over the Min­istry of Youths, Sports and Pub­lic Safety.

The state­ment said that the changes were for op­ti­mum pro­duc­tiv­ity and not be­cause the com­mis­sion­ers in­volved were not do­ing well.
