Four lawmakers from the Lagos State House of Assembly, yesterday, held a meeting with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, to register their displeasure over the ongoing altercation between Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Senator Dino Melaye.

The four legislators, who were from Lagos Central Senatorial District, expressed dismay over Senator Melaye’s use of derogatory statement against their representative.

The Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr Wasiu Sanni, who spoke on behalf of the others, said that Melaye’s action was capable of dissuading husbands from allowing their wives to participate in politics.

Sanni, who flayed what he called “conspiracy of silence” on the part of the Senate, said that the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly allowed the issue to fester.
