Oyo-Ita assures workers on welfare
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoCSF) Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita yesterday said the welfare of civil servants would be given utmost priority in line with the change agenda of the present administration to enhance their productivity.
She spoke when she led officials of the 39th meeting of the National Council on Establishment (NCE) on a visit to Niger State Governor Abubakar Sani Bello.
Mrs. Oyo-Ita said the Federal Integrated Staff Housing Programme was introduced to cushion the accommodation problems among civil servants.
She said the council was in Minna to discuss establishment issues in the civil service nationwide in order to meet up with the challenges of change.
Responding, Governor Bello’s representative, the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed Ketso, said lack of proper orientation and low professionalism had affected the civil service.
