Free newspaper, Today’s Impact, for launch tomorrow

Daily Trust - - NEWS - By Onimisi Alao

The publishers of Today’s Impact will tomorrow launch the national newspaper which has been circulated weekly for free since May last year.

The Chief Executive Officer and Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper, Sebagen Henry Noboh, said in a statement that the July 28 launching would be attended by former military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, among other dignitaries.

“With headquarters in Abuja, the newspaper, which had hit the newsstands on 18 May 2015 with limited weekly circulation in Abuja, Kano and Kaduna states, will assume a national dimension after the official launching,” Noboh said.

Stressing that the newspaper comes without a price tag, Noboh stated, “While Today’s Impact would be available in the newsstands, we will concentrate more in intensive street distribution and office delivery. This will ensure readers receive the papers free, since we cannot guarantee that all vendors would comply with our instruction.”
