Why Nige­ria’s ed­u­ca­tion sys­tem should be re-in­vented

Nige­ria’s ed­u­ca­tional sys­tem should be reinvented to give pride of place to en­cour­age im­mense par­tic­i­pa­tion of Nige­ri­ans in sci­ences, Dr. Ab­dul­salami Mo­hammed Sani of the De­part­ment of Bi­o­log­i­cal Sci­ences at Nige­rian De­fence Academy has said.

Speak­ing at the maiden An­nual Na­tional Con­fer­ence of Aca­demic Staff Union of Poly­tech­nics (ASUP), Kaduna Polytech­nic chap­ter, Sani said that for Nige­ria to ben­e­fit max­i­mally from the re­sults of science and tech­nol­ogy, it must en­sure the im­ple­men­ta­tion of a work­able and ef­fec­tive science and tech­nol­ogy pol­icy.
