Why Nigeria’s education system should be re-invented

Nigeria’s educational system should be reinvented to give pride of place to encourage immense participation of Nigerians in sciences, Dr. Abdulsalami Mohammed Sani of the Department of Biological Sciences at Nigerian Defence Academy has said.

Speaking at the maiden Annual National Conference of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Kaduna Polytechnic chapter, Sani said that for Nigeria to benefit maximally from the results of science and technology, it must ensure the implementation of a workable and effective science and technology policy.
