322 youth graduate from 11 trades in Kaduna
About 322 dependants of the Nigerian Air Force service yesterday graduated as the 22nd batch of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment’s Skills, Upgrading and Vocation Centre after a six months training.
Daily Trust gathered that the trainees have been equipped with fundamental skills including communication skills, attitudinal development, self-esteem, small scale enterprise development, total quality management, problem solving and decision making and health, safety and environment.
Speaking at the graduation yesterday in Kaduna, the principal of the centre, Musa S. D., said the 322 students - 236 males and 86 females - have acquired a certain level of proficiency in their chosen vocations and would soon become masters of their trades and employers of labour.
He said the training started on January 4, with 45 trainees of the Dependants of the NAF service adding that on April 4, 2016 and May 9, 2016, 85 of the dependants enrolled while on February 1, 2016, 153 trainees also enrolled.
