Ondo gov’ship aspirant flays Mimiko on economy

Daily Trust - - INSIDE POLITICS - By Muideen Olaniyi

An All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Ondo State, Foluso Mayowa Adeyemi, yesterday said the Governor Olusegun Mimiko-led administration had inflicted “spectacular economic woe” on the state.

Adeyemi said this while speaking with journalists shortly after obtaining his nomination and expression of interest forms at the APC national secretariat in Abuja.

He said civil servants had been subjected to excruciating economic torture and hardship due to backlog of unpaid salaries in the state, adding that the incomes of private business owners have been negatively affected due to the economic woe inflicted on the state by the incumbent government.
