Osinbajo commissions N10bn WACOT rice mill
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo will commission the N10 billion WACOT Rice Mill at Argungu in Kebbi State today.
A member of the committee set up by the state government on the acting president’s visit told our correspondent that Osinbajo would also commission some township roads in Birnin Kebbi during his visit.
Osinbajo’s visit to Kebbi State is coming a day before the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors meeting slated for Wednesday in the state.
In preparation for his visit, many of the township roads in Birnin Kebbi are wearing new look.
When chairman of WACOT group, Alhaji Bashar Aminu led the company’s executives on a courtesy visit to Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi, he told journalists that the group’s decision to establish a rice mill in Kebbi State was in line with the Presidency’s directive that they should produce and make the people to patronize Nigerian rice.
