Se­cu­rity ad­viser do­nates bore­hole to com­mu­nity

The Kogi State Se­cu­rity Ad­viser, Re­tired Navy Com­man­der Jerry Omodara, has do­nated a mo­torised bore­hole to Oke Of­fin com­mu­nity in Kabba Bunu LGA.

In­au­gu­rat­ing the wa­ter project, Gov­er­nor Ya­haya Bello, who was rep­re­sented by the Sec­re­tary to the State Gov­ern­ment, Mrs Ayoade Fo­lashade Arike, as­sured that gov­ern­ment would em­bark on more projects that would im­pact lives of peo­ple in ru­ral com­mu­ni­ties. Earlier, the Se­cu­rity Ad­viser said he car­ried out the project be­cause of the prob­lem the peo­ple were hav­ing with potable wa­ter.

The Chief of Oke Of­fin, Oba James Ay­in­mode, thanked the se­cu­rity ad­viser for the ges­ture and ap­pealed to the state gov­ern­ment to as­sist in re­ha­bil­i­tat­ing the road link­ing the com­mu­nity with Kabba town.
