Security adviser donates borehole to community
The Kogi State Security Adviser, Retired Navy Commander Jerry Omodara, has donated a motorised borehole to Oke Offin community in Kabba Bunu LGA.
Inaugurating the water project, Governor Yahaya Bello, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Ayoade Folashade Arike, assured that government would embark on more projects that would impact lives of people in rural communities. Earlier, the Security Adviser said he carried out the project because of the problem the people were having with potable water.
The Chief of Oke Offin, Oba James Ayinmode, thanked the security adviser for the gesture and appealed to the state government to assist in rehabilitating the road linking the community with Kabba town.
