A 10-year-old boy, Olamide Adebola, has launched his first book in Abuja.

Adebola, a primary school pupil, said he devoted at least five hours on weekends to research while writing the 56-page book titled, “The little fact book.”

“I have put this book together to share some of the things I have discovered from children between six and 15 years old. I am sure every reader will learn something, no matter how small about the human body and how to take good care of it,” he said.

He said he got an idea to write a book about two years ago and was inspired when he read a book, “Over 500 random facts.”

The boy’s father, Dr Olajide Adebola said his career and mental development started from his participation in school clubs and projects.

He said Adebola has won several awards one of which he got as the best pupil while in primary two.

A medical doctor, Simeon Onyemaji, commended the young author for his discoveries.

He said, “It’s a great thing for a little boy to think about writing on the care of the human body. As a medical doctor, I must confess, I saw two different little facts that I just got to know by flipping through the pages of the book.”
