Universities for Army, Navy, Maritime coming -Education minister

The Federal Government is set to establish four more universities in the country.

Minister of Education Malam Adamu Adamu said yesterday that three of the universities were for the Army, Navy and Maritime respectively and would take off soon.

The minister dropped the hint during the pally between the Federal Government and the Progressive Governors Forum on Policy Synergy held in Birnin Kebbi, explaining that the setting up of the universities was in line with the policy of the present administration to boost education in all spheres.

The minister who said that the administration needed N4.2 trillion to fund the country’s education sector, appealed state governments to pay their counterpart funds to access their funds to realize the promise on education made by the APC to the people of Nigeria. to
