B/Haram: No time to rest yet — Bu­ratai tells troops

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt-Gen Tukur Bu­ratai, has called on his troops in Yobe and North­east to be de­ter­mined to clear the rem­nants of Boko Haram ter­ror­ists.

The COAS, who stated this while ad­dress­ing troops of 3 Di­vi­sion Tac­ti­cal Com­mand in Da­maturu, Yobe State, warned that there was no time to rest be­cause the ter­ror­ists had de­vised sev­eral means of at­tack­ing iso­lated and vul­ner­a­ble.

The COAS said ser­vice chiefs were in the North­east again in com­pli­ance with pres­i­den­tial di­rec­tive, adding that they would brain­storm fur­ther to make the op­er­a­tions faster and more suc­cess­ful.

The Army Chief who was in com­pany of top mil­i­tary per­son­nel in the North­east op­er­a­tions, had lengthy ses­sions and open dis­cus­sions with troops.
