…We must walk the talk — Suswam, Moro

Daily Trust - - EDUCATION - From Hope Abah, Makurdi

Ex-Governor Gabriel Suswam and a former Interior Minister, Abba Moro, have urged the PDP in Benue State to walk the talk if it must take over the state in 2019 from the APC.

The duo made the remark at the PDP stakeholders’ meeting held on Tuesday, in Makurdi.

Suswam, who alleged that all institutions of government in the state were virtually at the brink of collapse as a result of incompetent administration in the past two years, charged the party faithful to do the needful by working towards removing the APC.

On his part, Moro accused the APC-led government in the state of mortgaging the future of the people.

But the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Samuel Ortom, Terver Akase, in his reaction, told our correspondent that the PDP lacked moral justification to discredit his principal.

Akase said it was worth reminding both Suswam and Moro that Benue people rejected them in the 2015 election because they looted and raped the state dry and in broad day light.
