The Borno State Police Command has announced the arrest of two of the notorious members of Boko Haram who were declared wanted by the security agencies.

The state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Damian Chukwu, made the announcement to journalists yesterday in Maiduguri while parading suspected criminals apprehended by his personnel in various operations.

He said the suspects were nabbed between June and July at Ngomari airport area, Maiduguri and Nasarawa village of Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano state following intelligence report.

The CP disclosed the names of the suspected terrorists as Umar Abatcha of Muna Garage of Jere LGA and Alhaji Mallam Mohammed of Mainok town, Kaga LGA respectively.
