NASFAT holds maiden Qur’anic stud­ies grad­u­a­tion

The Kubwa branch of Nas­rul-lahi-l-Fatih So­ci­ety (NASFAT) Sat­ur­day grad­u­ated 17 mem­bers in its Qur’anic stud­ies.

Speak­ing at the maiden grad­u­a­tion cer­e­mony, chair­man of the branch, Al­haji Ab­dulGa­far Sanusi, said it was a big suc­cess for NASFAT.

He said, “It is a big achieve­ment for us be­cause when you give knowl­edge of Is­lam, you have given that per­son life here and in the hereafter. Seven­teen peo­ple are grad­u­at­ing; 14 fe­males and three males. And you know when you grad­u­ate fe­males you have ac­tu­ally grad­u­ated the whole world.”

Sanusi stressed that Qur’anic stud­ies is not only about ac­quir­ing the knowl­edge but im­pact­ing the knowl­edge in our daily ac­tiv­i­ties.

He urged the grad­uands to keep to the Is­lamic knowl­edge and prac­tices they were taught.

Also speak­ing, Mis­sioner of NASFAT in Kubwa, Us­taz Abu­lafees As­suyuty Al-Iwowiy stressed the need for Mus­lims to strive to ac­quire Qur’anic ed­u­ca­tion as its ac­qui­si­tion will guide them aright in all their en­deav­ours.

He prayed for the quick re­cov­ery of Pres­i­dent Muham­madu Buhari to en­able him im­ple­ment his elec­toral prom­ises to Nige­ri­ans.
