NAF builds transit quarters for new officers in Niger
The Nigerian Air Force has built transit quarters for new officers at the 407 Air Combat Training Group in Kainji, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.
The 30-room accommodation was commissioned by the Chief of Administration, Air Vice Marshal Lawal Shittu, who represented the Chief of Air Staff, Sadiq Baba Abubakar.
In his speech on the occasion, the Air Chief said the gesture, which was aimed at motivating officers and men of the Force and give them a sense of belonging, would be replicated at all the Nigerian Air Force formations in Kaduna, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kano and Makurdi. The Chief of Air Staff, who commended personnel for exhibiting high professional conduct, urged them not to relent in the avowed duty to defend the country from all forms of aggression.
