Former ANPP Kano chairman Hashim Hotoro dies at 65
A former Kano State chairman of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Alhaji Sani Hashim Hotoro is dead.
Hashim Hotoro who was a close ally of a former Minister of Education and two-term governor of the state, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, died after a prolonged illness at the age of 65, leaving behind two wives and fourteen children.
Alhaji Muntari Sani Hashim, a son of the deceased, said about him, “Our father had been sick for quite a long time. He had been in and out of hospital on several occasions and he died in the early hours of Thursday.”
The late Hashim Hotoro has seen been buried according to Islamic rites at the Tarauni Cemetery, Kano.
