Masari a very modest leader — Aregbesola

Daily Trust - - INSIDE POLITICS - By Mustapha M. Mustapha

Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State has described his Katsina State counterpart, Aminu Bello Masari, as one of the most modest contemporary Nigerian leaders he has ever come across.

Aregbesola made the observation yesterday at the Osun government house, Osogbo, when Governor Masari and his Sokoto State counterpart, Aminu Tambuwal, visited him.

A statement issued by Masari’s spokesman, Abdu Labaran Malumfashi, in Abuja, said Aregbesola also extolled the leadership qualities of Masari.

In their remarks earlier, Governors Masari and Tambuwal had on behalf of their people and governments condoled with Governor Aregbesola, the government and people of Osun State over the death of Alhaja Saratu, saying her death was a loss to every progressive minded and forward looking Nigerian.

They prayed Allah grants her eternal rest.
