Boko Haram kills 4 in Borno village
Boko Haram militants have attacked Amarwa village in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State, killing four people and injuring many others.
The insurgents who invaded the village around 10 o’clock Saturday night, were also said to have set the entire village ablaze.
The Executive Director of the Network of the Civil Society Organizations in the state, Ambassador Ahmed Shehu, who shared the story with newsmen in Maiduguri yesterday, said the injured ones had been hospitalized.
“Just got information from the village head that four people were found dead so far, and those injured were taken to hospital,” he said.
Amarwa village is situated close to a military checkpoint along the Maiduguri-Bama road.
At the time of filing this report, neither the police nor the military in the state had confirmed the attack.
