Youth Day: Forum wants more funding for education
The Transparency Advocacy Development Initiative (TADI) has urged the Federal Government to commit more funds to development of education.
National Coordinator of the group, Yomi David made the appeal yesterday in Abuja.
He said investing more funds in the sector would ensure proper development of manpower for the country to solve human capital challenges.
“The sector has suffered from poor funding in the past. This must not be allowed to continue by the present government led by President Muhammadu Buhari. We urge the president to ensure that the education sector under his administration received a lion share of the budget as he has already begun,” David said.
