CAN pres­i­dent visits Kogi as Bap­tist Church holds con­ven­tion

The Na­tional Pres­i­dent of the Chris­tian As­so­ci­a­tion of Nige­ria (CAN), Rev’d Dr Sam­son Ola­supo Ayokunle will be in Kogi State cap­i­tal Lokoja to­mor­row to at­tend the Nige­rian Bap­tist Con­ven­tion.

The CAN Pres­i­dent who dou­bles as the head of the Nige­rian Bap­tist Con­ven­tion will lead other ex­pected 3, 000 del­e­gates for the 38th An­nual Congress and 40th An­niver­sary of the Men Mis­sion­ary Union of the Nige­rian Bap­tist Con­ven­tion sched­uled for Au­gust 15 -18 in Lokoja.

A state­ment from the Chair­man of the Pro­to­col Unit of the Congress, Mr Boluwaji Oba­hopo, said the CAN Pres­i­dent would pay a visit on the Kogi State Gover­nor, Al­haji Ya­haya Bello while in the state.

The state­ment added that the con­ven­tion will fea­ture prayer ses­sion for Nige­ria, praises and ex­po­si­tion of the word of God, amongst oth­ers.
