Law­maker con­structs 1,500 bore­holes in Nasarawa

The mem­ber rep­re­sent­ing Ak­wanga/Wamba/Nasarawa Eg­gon Fed­eral Con­stituency in the Na­tional As­sem­bly (NASS), David Om­bugadu, has com­menced the con­struc­tion of 1,500 bore­holes across com­mu­ni­ties in Nasarawa State.

Om­bugadu who launched his Om­bugadu Wa­ter Project for All at Ak­wanga Lo­cal Gov­ern­ment Area of the state, said the con­struc­tion was be­ing done un­der the Om­bugadu Foun­da­tion to tackle the prob­lems of wa­ter scarcity in the tar­geted com­mu­ni­ties.

Om­bugadu, who was rep­re­sented by the trus­tee of the Om­bugadu Foun­da­tion, Iliya Ashom, said he had ear­lier im­pacted on the peo­ple of his con­stituency through in­fras­truc­tural de­vel­op­ment such as pro­vi­sion of transformers, health cen­tres, wa­ter, youths and women em­pow­er­ment, among oth­ers.
