Dangote sponsors Niger Investment Summit
Africa’s industrial giant, Dangote Group, is sponsoring the Niger State Investment Summit.
The summit, which has as its theme ‘Impact Investing for Agricultural Economy and Innovation’, is billed to open today (Monday) in Minna, the Niger State capital.
This follows the sponsorship by Dangote Group of the just concluded 15th Trade Fair organized by the Niger Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture.
The group is investing in the agricultural sector of the state.
Dangote Group’s delegation is being led by the company’s Group Executive Director, Stakeholders Management and Corporate Communications, Ahmed Mansur.
One of the discussants at the summit is the CEO of Dangote Sugar Plc, Abdullahi Industry, Mines and Sule, who will join other discussants to talk on the topic ‘Cultivating Change: Agriculture, Education and Impact Investing’.
The 2017 Summit is coming after the one held in 2014.
The summit, according to the organisers is expected to “highlight the most proactive and promising approaches to responsible investment.”
