Dan­gote spon­sors Niger In­vest­ment Sum­mit

Africa’s in­dus­trial gi­ant, Dan­gote Group, is spon­sor­ing the Niger State In­vest­ment Sum­mit.

The sum­mit, which has as its theme ‘Im­pact In­vest­ing for Agri­cul­tural Econ­omy and In­no­va­tion’, is billed to open to­day (Mon­day) in Minna, the Niger State cap­i­tal.

This fol­lows the spon­sor­ship by Dan­gote Group of the just con­cluded 15th Trade Fair or­ga­nized by the Niger Cham­ber of Com­merce, Agri­cul­ture.

The group is in­vest­ing in the agri­cul­tural sec­tor of the state.

Dan­gote Group’s del­e­ga­tion is be­ing led by the com­pany’s Group Ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor, Stake­hold­ers Man­age­ment and Cor­po­rate Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, Ahmed Mansur.

One of the dis­cus­sants at the sum­mit is the CEO of Dan­gote Sugar Plc, Ab­dul­lahi In­dus­try, Mines and Sule, who will join other dis­cus­sants to talk on the topic ‘Cul­ti­vat­ing Change: Agri­cul­ture, Ed­u­ca­tion and Im­pact In­vest­ing’.

The 2017 Sum­mit is com­ing af­ter the one held in 2014.

The sum­mit, ac­cord­ing to the or­gan­is­ers is ex­pected to “high­light the most proac­tive and promis­ing ap­proaches to re­spon­si­ble in­vest­ment.”
