Faculty of social science wins FUDMA Inter faculty games
Faculty of Social Sciences has emerged as the overall winner and best behaved team of the 6th edition of the Federal University Dutsinma ( FUDMA) inter faculty games. They took away the grand price of N100,000 for their outstanding performance.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the games, the Chairman Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND Senator Barau Jibrin enjoined the Ag. VC of the university, Prof Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi not to relent in promoting sporting activities in the university.
He said the Senate committee on tertiary Institutions and TET FUND is monitoring closely the progress and challenges of the University and urged members of the university community to give the VC maximum support and cooperation in his effort to make FUDMA more peaceful.
He commended the student athletes for the high level of sportsmanship and expressed satisfaction with the spirit of sportsmanship displayed.
In his remarks, the acting vice chancellor assured of the university’s readiness to continue to boost academic and sporting activities as a vital tool for youth development.
