Dubai hospi­tal to sup­port Nige­ria’s health sec­tor

The Valiant Clinic Dubai, one of the health care in­sti­tu­tions in the United Arab Emi­rates said it has fi­nal­ized plans to boost Nige­ria’s health­care sys­tem.

The hospi­tal made this known through Dr Ser­gio Valenti, a Con­sul­tant Urol­o­gist at the hospi­tal while brief­ing news­men in Abuja.

He said the hospi­tal which was launched last year, was brought to the Mid­dle East by Mer­aas, a lead­ing Dubai-based hold­ing com­pany and man­aged by the Amer­i­can health­care provider, Hous­ton Methodist Hospi­tal.

Head of Busi­ness Devel­op­ment, Mer­aas, Has­san Sameer Has­san said the hospi­tal fo­cuses on di­ag­nos­tic, pre­ven­tive health­care and well­ness, and sup­ports the phi­los­o­phy of liv­ing a pos­i­tive life­style. He added that in the near­est fu­ture, the hospi­tal may con­sider hav­ing a phys­i­cal pres­ence in Nige­ria.
