Dankwambo appoints 11 perm secs, redeploys 14
Gombe State Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has approved the appointment of 11 new permanent secretaries and redeployment of 14 others in a reorganization of the state civil service.
A statement by the Information Officer, Office of the state Head of Civil Service, Yakubu Mamman, gave the names and portfolios of the new appointees as Sa’idu Baba Gadam posted to the Ministry of Information and Orientation, Jibril S. Musa (Establishment office of the Head of service), Ishaku S. Mohammed (Women Affairs), Ibrahim Suleiman (Ministry for Local Government), Ishaku U. Kachalla (Water Resources) and Salamatu Dahiru Biri (Higher Education).
Others are Becky Samuel (State Independent Electoral Commission), Mohammed Salisu Waziri (Permanent Secretary’s office of the SSG), Auwal Musa Umar (SDG), Jalo Ibrahim Ali (Ministry of Finance) and Aliyu Sulaiman Imam (Board of Traditional Medicine).
Those reshuffled includes Yakubu Abba who moved from Water Resources to General Administration; Usman M. Shamaki from Animal Husbandry to General Duties (SSG), Ezekiel T. Amos from Establishment to Local Government Service Commission, Robertson Damon from Rural Development to Works and Infrastructure, Usman Z. Bello from General Administration Ministry of Special Duties.
Others are Laraba Ahmad Kawu who moved from Women Affairs to Health, Umar B. Abubakar from Teachers Service Commission to Ministry of Cooperative, Salisu U. Fodio from Local Government Service Commission to Teachers Service Commission, Barrister Obel Yaji from General Duties (SSG) to Ministry of Metropolitan and Urban Planning and Bappayo Abubakar from Special Duties to Animal Husbandry.
Adamu Musa Kumo was moved from Ministry of Cooperative to Ministry of Trade and Investment, Yahaya M. Baba from Health to Land and Survey, Ismail Isa Idris from Housing and Transport to Rural Development and Maka’son N. Danmatata from Higher Education to Housing and Transport.
