N/Assembly urged to pass Disability Bill
The Joint National Association of People with Disability (JONAPWD), Enugu State chapter, has appealed to the National Assembly to quickly pass the National Disability Bil.
JONAPWD Chairman, Barrister Gab Chikwe Nnamani and Secretary, Augustine Onyeachonam made the appeal at a press conference in Enugu yesterday.
They said more than 95 percent of public infrastructure in Nigeria were inaccessible to persons with disabilities.
They alleged that government institutions designed their programmes and activities at the exclusion of persons with disabilities.
