Sami wants APC intervention in Kebbi South

Daily Trust - - INSIDE POLITICS - By Ifah Ele Sunday

An APC senatorial aspirant for Kebbi South, Prince Sule Iko Sami, has called on the APC national leadership to look into the recently concluded primary in the district.

“The accreditation was shabby; people were placed in several parts of the town. When they came to the venue of the election, we insisted that they should do the accreditation at the venue because there was enough space. But there was so much rancour and they didn’t agree,” he said.

“There was an appeal panel that was set up and our lawyers have filed a petition. We are hoping the appeal panel would be considerate by looking at the basis for the petition and see what they can do about it so that the will of the people will prevail,” he added.
