The Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation (ZSF) has distributed cash and empowerment materials to over 140 beneficiaries in some parts of the country. The foundation’s Executive Director, Prince Sulyman Olagunju, said the beneficiaries were drawn from Nasarawa, Niger and Kogi states and the FCT.

Items distributed include sewing, grinding and shoe making machines, deep freezers, among others.

Olagunju said funds were also disbursed to the sick, needy and students to support and cater for their welfare, education, businesses, medical, debt relief and accommodation.

He added that 25 senior citizens age 60 and above also benefited in the Senior Citizens Programme Support. He urged well-meaning Nigerians to continue reaching out to the less-privileged through Zakat foundations.
