Hameed Ali, Senators set for showdown

My question is, is Hameed Ali not discharging his duties? Is he a thief? Is he corrupt? The Senators should focus on more important things. We can’t be fooled any longer.

The Senate should not blow out of proportion something that can be resolved amicably. We are behind the Customs boss. We know Hameed Ali is not a corrupt person and he is doing his job very well, without fear or favour and that is what good Nigerians expect him to do.

Sincerely speaking, our senators need to exhibit maturity in this matter. Nigerians will expect the Senators to do everything possible to protect their interest rather than dwell on the issue of uniform, which is of no significance to the Nigerian populace.

Nigerians would like to see the receipts and cognate documents of all vehicles possessed by distinguished senators and their immediate family members. Nigerians would also like to see the receipts or evidence of payment of appropriate fees/charges on all the vehicles possessed by the senators.

Even though the constitution gives senators the right to investigate issues, they should not embarrass the CG. The Customs boss has tried very hard to eliminate criminal activities around the borders.

The Senate should focus on better things please. This is definitely not one of our major problems in Nigeria
