He recalled the emergence of Maitama as a political stalwart in the 1950s when his political career took off, through to his participation in the first and second republic as an example for all politicians and leaders.
In his review of the book, Senator Robert Borifice, a professor, described Maitama Sule as a “resilient brigdge builder Nigerians should emulate,” saying that the importance of documenting the life of an icon like Maitama cannot be overemphasized.
Others who showered praises on the late Maitama included former vice president Alex Ekweume, Chief Edwin Clark, Former Edo State governor Adams Oshiomole, Prof. Ango Abdullahi among others.
