Owners of arms import firm uncovered

Sunday Trust - - VIEWPOINT -

Only God can save us from insurgents, because right now nobody knows the actual number of arms-bearing containers that have entered the country. I urge the relevant authourities to thoroughly investigate this matter and charge anyone found guilty to court. May God continue to expose the enemies of this country. Ibrahim M. Hussain

Please, don’t leave any stone unturned in unmasking those behind the importation of the arms, no matter who is involved. I say this because some high profile citizens may be involved. I commend the Customs boss and his team for the discoveries. I hope this issue will be properly tackled to protect lives and property. Andrew Bahago The authourities should make sure they get to the root of the matter. Citizens need to be protected. Agbo Patricia Igwe All those involved should be exposed and prosecuted. Danjuma Liadi What are the arms for? Chuka Victor

The company should be shut down and the owner should be arrested. Auwal Moga

May Almighty God continue to expose those working to tear Nigeria apart. Comr Khaleeyd Kuspa All enemies of Nigeria must be exposed and dealt with. Nasir Shuaibu Nigeria is becoming well organized, keep exposing them. Jibrin Adam

What annoys me about reports like this is that we may not hear anything about it again. I urge the media to follow this story until the people behind the illegal arms importation are nabbed and brought to book. David Bonire

Those in charge of registration of companies need to do more. People should not be allowed to register whatever they like. Proper investigation should be conducted before companies are registered. Chijioke Igolo

All I can say is that those behind the act should desist. We don’t need more problems in this country. Sanusi Kura
