ONLINE Nothing can stop EFCC from fighting corruption – Magu
This is what the wailers are afraid of and that is why the Senate refused to confirm the EFCC boss as the substantive chairman. However, I am glad that Magu is not deterred by the lack of support from the legislature. He is carrying out his duties diligently and I pray that Almighty Allah continues to bless and protect him.
I urge the Nigerian government to construct a prison in Sambisa forest, so that anyone convicted of stealing public funds can be sent there. Such drastic decision will deter others who may want to defraud the country.
I don’t think the EFCC is doing anything fantastic. Had it been it was performing as it should, by now many people accused of looting government funds would have been in jail. Most of the cases are still pending because the EFCC has not presented enough evidence to the court. The commission should do more.
How many people have been jailed for corruption since this government came into power? It is not just about talking, it should be backed by action. It is only when we begin to see convictions that we will know that the EFCC is working.
As far as I am concerned, the EFCC is only fighting those in opposition. The fight is selective. May God protect the EFCC chairman and all those working in the commission. The job is not an easy one.
The EFCC is not being fair in its corruption fight. There are many people in the society who have been accused of stealing funds but are walking about freely. That should not be the case. The EFCC should treat all Nigerians equally.
I like the statement. That is exactly what I expect the EFCC to do. Fight corruption and save the country from looters. I am happy that a man like Magu is heading the commission.
Many people in the country are corrupt. The EFCC has a huge task on its hands.
Kudos to the EFCC boss! He is doing well and I know that nobody can stop him.
