Army wives train 77 ‘bar­rack boys’

From Maryam Ah­madu-Suka, Kaduna The Nige­rian Army Of­fi­cers Wives As­so­ci­a­tion (NAOWA) In­sti­tute of Sec­re­tar­ial and Man­age­ment Stud­ies, has grad­u­ated 77 boys res­i­dent in the bar­racks who were trained on var­i­ous skills. The 77 per­sons, who were drawn from the bar­racks of 1 Di­vi­sion of the Nige­rian Army, earned Na­tional Di­plo­mas in tai­lor­ing, fash­ion de­sign, cater­ing, com­puter science, cater­ing, ho­tel man­age­ment, of­fice tech­nol­ogy man­age­ment and busi­ness ad­min­is­tra­tion. Speak­ing at the 5th grad­u­a­tion of the in­sti­tute, NAOWA Pres­i­dent of the Di­vi­sion, Mrs. Hauwa Mo­hammed, said the aim of the train­ing is to build the ca­pac­i­ties of chil­dren within the bar­racks.
