PRP elects national chairman as Kaduna gov candidate
The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has elected its National Chairman Alhaji Falalu Bello its flag bearer for the Kaduna State governorship election.
Bello emerged as the candidate by the consensus of party delegates and stakeholders at a primary election which held in Kaduna on Friday.
He was affirmed by all the delegates through voice votes.
The Kaduna State party Chairman, Mr. Mataimaki Tom Maiyashi urged members to be committed to strengthening the party’s candidates towards the 2019 general elections.
He said the party has thoroughly screened all its candidates and found them qualified saying the PRP is ready compete with other major political parties in the next general elections.
The Chairman, Board of Trustees of the party, Mallam Balarabe Musa who was at the primary urged party members to support its candidates to ensure they win in the next elections.
