PRP elects na­tional chair­man as Kaduna gov can­di­date

The Peo­ples Re­demp­tion Party (PRP) has elected its Na­tional Chair­man Al­haji Falalu Bello its flag bearer for the Kaduna State gov­er­nor­ship elec­tion.

Bello emerged as the can­di­date by the con­sen­sus of party del­e­gates and stake­hold­ers at a pri­mary elec­tion which held in Kaduna on Fri­day.

He was af­firmed by all the del­e­gates through voice votes.

The Kaduna State party Chair­man, Mr. Mataimaki Tom Maiyashi urged mem­bers to be com­mit­ted to strength­en­ing the party’s can­di­dates to­wards the 2019 gen­eral elec­tions.

He said the party has thor­oughly screened all its can­di­dates and found them qual­i­fied say­ing the PRP is ready com­pete with other ma­jor po­lit­i­cal par­ties in the next gen­eral elec­tions.

The Chair­man, Board of Trustees of the party, Mal­lam Balarabe Musa who was at the pri­mary urged party mem­bers to sup­port its can­di­dates to en­sure they win in the next elec­tions.
