THE problem of health care in Nigeria and other parts of Africa will not go away unless the political class provides the populace with strong leadership, the immediate former governor of Ondo state, Segun Mimiko said during his presentation at a Public Health African Policy Forum specifically dedicated to Nigeria tagged “Nigerianhealth Seminar” at Chatham House, The Royal Institute of International Affairs yesterday.

He noted that even the financing of health programs depends on political will, as was witnessed during his tenure with the Abiyeprogram that gave him global recognition.
