Foun­da­tion urges unity as it holds arts and cul­ture fes­ti­val

THE Ek­iti Foun­da­tion, which was re­cently un­veiled at a lav­ish cock­tail event in La­gos, is set to hold the first edi­tion of its In­ter­na­tional Fes­ti­val of Arts and Cul­ture tagged ‘Ek­iti Xmas Fest’, at the AB Foun­da­tion Civic Cen­tre, Ado Ek­iti on De­cem­ber 26. Pres­i­dent of the foun­da­tion, Prof An­thony Kila dis­closed that the ob­jec­tive of the foun­da­tion is to foster friendly and pro­duc­tive re­la­tion­ships be­tween business and pro­fes­sion­als from the state with oth­ers across the globe, adding that this year’s event has been con­ceived to be a day of link­ing the world to Ek­iti through mo­ments of fun, taste, dis­cov­ery and en­coun­ters.

“It will also be mo­ments and events of re­union for friends and fam­i­lies of Ek­iti across the world, “he said.

He noted that pro­fes­sion­als and business sup­port­ing and par­tic­i­pat­ing at the Ek­iti Xmas Fest, would be giv­ing away items which in­clude es­sen­tial items like vouch­ers for WAEC forms that win­ners can trans­fer to any­one of their choice in Nige­ria as well as air tick­ets and ho­tel vouch­ers that can be used across the world.
