Exxonmo­bil re­ceives awards

Exxonmo­bil has re­ceived the Cham­pion in Sus­tain­abil­ity Malaria Pro­gram­ming award in recog­ni­tion of its con­tri­bu­tions to the fight against malaria in Africa. The award was pre­sented at the West African Cor­po­rate Malaria Award Cer­e­mony, which rec­og­nizes pri­vate sec­tor com­pa­nies that take ex­traordi- nary steps to pro­tect their em­ploy­ees and com­mu­ni­ties from the dis­ease.

The award is ad­min­is­tered by the Cor­po­rate Alliance on Malaria in Africa (CAMA). The award was pre­sented by Dr. Keziah Malm, Na­tional Malaria Pro­gram Man­ager for Ghana, and ac­cepted by Dr. Effiem J. Ab­bah, Exxonmo­bil’s Gen­eral Man­ager of Medicine
