“molestation is a minor case that the divisional police officer can handle. no, I have not got any report of such,” nwabuzor said.

but the headmistress of the school, mr Precious Adu, told that the management only received a complaint from a JSS1 student, who claimed to have been harassed by the teacher.

Adu, however, stated that preliminary investigation showed that the allegation was false.

The headmistress said, “The pupil said that the teacher asked her to write, ‘I love you’ on piece of paper, after she had a play-fight with her classmate and he intervened. There was nothing like touching.

“This is a Catholic school and we do our best to maintain discipline among staff and pupils. The school will not hesitate to terminate the appointment of any teacher found harassing pupils.”
