Presidency reacts to DSS recruitment report
The Presidency has responded to media reports about an alleged lopsidedness in the latest recruitment exercise by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Media reports yesterday claimed that the DSS in its 2016 recruitment employed more people from the North than from the Southern part of the country.
However a statement from the Presidency said that for a sensitive organisation and an important one for national cohesion and stability like the DSS there was always the need to ensure balance in recruitment and manning.
