The Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) - the multi-security task-force maintaining peace in Plateau State and some parts of Southern Kaduna and Bauchi states has reiterated that there won’t be restriction in movement during tomorrow’s Independence Day celebration.

The command made the announcement through its Media Officer, Captain Umar Ahmad Umar at a press conference in Jos yesterday.

OPSH also called on Plateau residents to carry out their usual activities because the command has deployed its troops and vehicles to every nook and cranny of the state in order to ensure that people were protected from any form of threat.

Captain Umar warned the public to desist from hate speeches urging them to concentrate on utterances that would bring people together and promote unity.
